Norfolk is a long way away from anywhere, and if I were you, I shouldn't start from here. By the time you get to the outskirts of Cromer, any distinctions between science, beachcombing, social commentary, writing and animal husbandry have started to blur. When the process is complete, you know you've arrived at the End Of The Pier Show. So, welcome. Find somewhere to park your unicycle. Pull up a girrafe chair. Make yourself comfortable.

Let Slip The Blogs of War!

Hardly has Jennifer Rohn stopped chewing the carpet following her editorial travails on OpenLab08, than submissions are being solicited for OpenLab09. This year's guest editor is SciCurious, who'd like us to believe she looks like Remy the Rat from Ratatouille. Although I know for a fact that she doesn't. Just sayin'. Anyway, you can find the submission form here . Now, being as I am a modest man, quiet and self-effacing to a fault, I make a point of never offering my own posts, either from here or elsewhere, for nomination. Should, however, I be thrust into the limelight by my loyal readers, well, hey, look, you know what to do.
